As a former Board member of a Homeowners Association, I wish I had learned of it years ago. It would have saved me from many unsuccessful internet searchs to find out how to deal with problems. I could have had a more informed approach and avoided several mistakes.Now I am using it to help our association meet the new requirements. I just wish our original developers had used a better attorney to draft our governing documents. Mr. Cagle does an excellent job of bringing in the various sets of laws that affect HOA operations.
Quite a timesaver compared to spending hours trying to gather the same information from the internet.Cost is just a fraction of one hours billable time from an attorney.Very handy reference book on Texas Homeowners Association Law.I really appreciate the effort required to have the book published.

This book is excellently written and organized. I was able to get right to the information that I needed to help correct some misguided views that many of us had in my neighborhood.
This is basically a law textbook. OK if you are involved in collecting on unpaid dues or if you know nothing about an HOA. Wish I had gotten something else.
I purchased 3 copies of this book to make available to our Board. It would have been impossible for our small community to have made the transistion from our developer to a new, inexperienced Board of Directors without this step by step, legal guide! My copy is so marked up and worn that I'm considering purchasing another copy. This book will not overwhelm you. It is well written and easy to understand.Well worth the purchase price.You will NOT be disappointed!
Reasonable price, arrived promptly in new condition. This is a useful addition to our Homeowner's Association and hopefully future Boards will reference it as well.
