You know it's a not a great biography when the author rather gratuitously savages the subject's grandfather, father, and brother, as well as the subject himself. If Netanyahu had a kitten the author would likely write he had a killer feline. The only reason this gets two stars and not one is the writer did a lot of research and some of it is interesting (although he did not have the cooperation of his subject).
A compelling, page turning history of the State of Israel, in addition to its long serving prime minister. Reads like a novel yet taught me many things I didn’t know about Netanyahu’s life, family and personal history. Highly recommend.
Timely delivery of what looks set to be an interesting read! Thank you!
